Please make note of the following important TERMS & CONDITIONS on booking Fareha. Please read these User Terms carefully as they are a legal document and, on your booking, you agree to be bound by these User Terms.
* It is the responsibility of the client who books to understand, agree and be responsible for all booking conditions, including all payments are made by specified dates.
Please note that all prices are subject to change. Notice will be given of any future changes.
Customers are required to pay the full amount for the trial on the day of the trial. 24 hours notice must be given if you wish to miss, cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to do so may mean you will be charged the full cost of the appointment.
Booking will be subject to availability – please contact Fareha Ahmad to confirm her availability. Upon the original booking, you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit, which will under no circumstances be redeemable.
The person(s) scheduling the appointment will be responsible for full payment of all services in the event that other people in the wedding party do not pay their portion. Payments for the hair and makeup services taking place on the wedding day can be paid in advance up to 14 days prior to the day.
FAREHA does not offer refunds for any completed services; therefore if you are in any way dissatisfied, the onus is on the client to notify the stylist whilst they are on location. All discussions regarding refunds/discounts will be entered into on a case-by-case basis.
All deposits are non-refundable and not transferrable.
Cancellation of any booking by you must be given in writing, by post or email and will only be confirmed upon receipt of this. The following cancellation fees apply if the booking is cancelled by you.
- Up to 3 weeks prior to the date – the full deposited amount will not be refundable or transferable.
- 3 week’s prior to the day and under – 100% of the booked amount quoted on your booking confirmation will need to be paid by the client.
Time management is of the essence therefore adherence to appointment times is critical in ensuring that Fareha Ahmad delivers the service you expect. Therefore when making appointment times please note that these times will be strictly adhered to. Should unforeseen circumstances arise, the onus is on the bride to advise Fareha Ahmad as soon as practicable. Fareha is not responsible if desired completion time is not met due to wedding party delays. In a Event of a Delay by the bride or Bridal Party, a late fee will be charges is 15 min increments. Brides do not choose the time at which Fareha and any other artist working with her arrive; Fareha will notify her Brides of her arrival time the week of the wedding.
A travel fee may be incurred depending on distance required to travel. In the event that any hotel/motel and parking fees are incurred as result of the location of the appointment, these will be passed on to the bride.
Extra people wanting styling
If any additional people require styling on the day, but do not have an appointment, this is not normally a problem and payment can be made with cash on the wedding day. Please give stylists notice if others want styling.
Fareha Ahmad or any artist working with her is not, under any circumstances, responsible for any allergic reactions to products used. The onus is on the client to notify New Look beauty if you have particular hypersensitivity that you are aware of. Should you bring your own product that you are familiar with, the stylist would be happy to use the product.
Important notes :
When choosing a start time, keep in mind that bridal hair and makeup typically take 2 hours on average to complete depending on the style. Blowdry is not included in any bridal or special event service, so hair must be 100% dry and ready to be worked on prior to start time.
All terms and conditions stated above and written in personal correspondence with the client (via text/email) will apply, with or without a contract, unless the written contract states otherwise.
Pricing and details are subject to change with no notice, however if a contract has already been drawn out and signed reflecting former pricing, the contract quote will be honored. Updated pricing would apply for new bookings only.
We have a bridal package available that includes full makeup and hair services as well as individual rates. Any event in which a bride is present such as ceremony, reception, engagement party, henna night, garba, nikkah etc. is considered a bridal event.
A 50% deposit is required to hold your date, and the remainder is due on the date of the event. Non refundable or transferable.
*Blowdry is not included in any hair styling services (such as bridal or non-bridal updo and hair styling appointments), so please come with 100% dry hair for any and all appointments! If hair is damp, we will not be able to work on your hair!
*Cash or direct deposit is currently my only form of same-day payment. No checks please.
- The following will incur additional charges:
- If a client goes over their allocated time its $100 extra every 30 mins.
- Early morning bookings (before 7am) will incur a surcharge between $45-$100 depending on services and location.
- Changing your time will incur a $45 surcharge
- Parking must be provided for all non studio bookings
- Wet/frizzy hair fee will be charged according to length and thickness of the hair but may vary between $45-$90.
- Hair extensions that need to be prepped by our stylist, curled and inserted will incur extra charge of $45+. Please email us if you need us to add this service.
